How Murena handles the personal data collected through murenatour.com, under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

Last updated 17 September 2026

This notice covers the personal data processed through this website: what you share with us via the "Become a partner" form, what you send us by email or phone, and what's collected through the technical cookies in use, detailed in our cookie policy.

Data controller

Murena S.r.l.s., Via Giacomo Leopardi, 144, 81030 Cellole (CE), Italy, VAT 04970090611. Email: [email protected]. PEC: [email protected].

What data we collect

Through the contact form we collect your name, agency name, work email address, country or market, and the message you send us. If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you share in that exchange. We don't collect special category data (Article 9 GDPR) through this site.

Why we process it

We use this data to respond to your request and assess starting a business partnership, based on the pre-contractual steps you ask us to take (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If the partnership goes ahead, some data is also processed to meet contractual, accounting and tax obligations (Article 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(c) GDPR).

How long we keep it

We keep the data from a request that doesn't lead to a business relationship for as long as needed to handle it, and in any case no longer than 24 months. Data tied to an active partnership is kept for its duration and afterwards for the periods required by tax and civil law.

Who we share it with

Your data is processed by our authorized staff and by providers who support us in running the website, email, and, if the relationship goes ahead, travel services, for example local partners and bed banks, limited to what's necessary. We don't sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Data transfers

Some technical providers we use may process data outside the European Economic Area. When that happens, we make sure the transfer is covered by the safeguards required under Articles 44-49 GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

This site only uses technical cookies necessary for it to work. The cookies in use, their purpose, and how to manage your preferences are detailed in our cookie policy.

Your rights

As a data subject, you can exercise the rights set out in Articles 15-22 GDPR at any time, in particular you can request:

  • Access to your personal data and a copy of it
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Deletion of your data, where there's no legitimate reason to keep it
  • Restriction of processing in specific cases set out by law
  • Portability of the data you provided us, in a structured, machine-readable format
  • Objection to processing based on legitimate interest

You can exercise these rights by writing to [email protected] or to our PEC address. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
