White houses and blue domes stepping down the caldera cliff at Oia

Santorini

A drowned volcano, and the calm island on the far side of it

Santorini receives cruise calls that put eight thousand people into Oia for a single afternoon, and then the island goes quiet again around six. Everything we design here follows that curve: inland in the middle of the day, on the caldera when it empties.

The interior is the surprise: assyrtiko vines trained into baskets against the wind, the Bronze Age streets at Akrotiri, and Pyrgos, which has no sunset view and therefore no crowd. A private caique to Thirasia closes the loop.
